Every Path to Ownership & Engagement is Custom & Unique

Designing and executing a succession plan fits squarely in the "important but not urgent" category, so it always feels like the kind of thing you can keep putting of until "tomorrow."

But if you put it off for too long, you are setting up yourself, your company, and your people for a much more painful process down the road.

How it works…

    1. Introductory Call

Please reach out to us to schedule a complementary introductory call so we can learn more about your company and your hopes, dreams, and goals. This will help us determine if you are a good fit for our services.

    2. Education and Discovery Work

The first step for many business owners is to learn more about ownership alternatives like Purpose Trusts and Employee Ownership, and to assess whether their business might be a good fit for alternative ownership transition.

  • Illustration of a lightbulb surrounded by a yellow circle, with red arrows indicating a cycle between ideas and money, symbolizing innovation leading to financial gain.

    3. Visioning and Viability Work

Once you have a general sense of the direction you think you'd like to head, we lead you through our personalized and proven feasibility process that we call "Visioning and Viability."

By the end of this phase, you will have clear sense of your "Vision of Success," a high level design for your ownership, governance, financing, and deal structure, and a good understanding of how the numbers and details would work.

Our target outcome is for you to have the information you need to make a confident "go or no go" decision on moving forward with implementation.

    4. Implementation

During implementation, we leverage our Visioning and Viability work to develop an executable implementation roadmap. Then we project manage your implementation and see you through the transaction. During this phase we work closely with legal counsel and CPA and other necessary professionals (i.e. a valuation firm) to help ensure a smooth and compliant transaction.

While the phases noted above are "typical," no two engagements are the same.

Owners and companies come to us at different stages in their journey, and they all have their own unique set of circumstances, goals, and challenges. We do NOT have a one-size-fits-all process. Our engagement will be customized to fit your specific situation.
